I've used MyInfo for quite some time but still don't see a convenient way to manage completed tasks. When I enter a Finished date, the task/document is "struck out" but it remains in the tree, cluttering things up. Is there some nifty way of hiding finished tasks in the tree? Or, easily moving them somewhere else (preferably preserving the tree structure)? The filter view doesn't do it for me... I need the tree structure so I can see the task groupings.
Thanks!
Managing completed tasks?
Hi ccallas,
Don't be angry with my reply, I am in no way intending to monopolize your thread. I just wanted to let you know that I am 100 p.c. with your claim. As you can see in my other posts here, I am trying to go way ahead of the usual "this is not so good" approach, but that I am trying to say WHAT should be done instead, in every detail except for the encoding. Besides this is not a critique of the usual stance, not whatsoever.
But I've been used to MI for some 3 months now, and I am "learning" the MI way - and optimalizing it if Petko wants to follow me -, and up to now, I just SAW those tasks problems, without using tasks for the time being, I will just have to get to them in some weeks...
and I want to tell that when I will GO to task management, I'll have some good ideas what really can be DONE about them!
(At first sight, this might appear preposterous, but in light of my other postings, be sure I hope to be of real help then.)
