Would it be possible to use the 6.04 beta in the meantime while the
final version is getting ready?

My workflow slowed down quite significantly since a minor change in the search
function in 6.04. I have to use the incremental search quite extensively in the next
few weeks, so I am getting concerned.

However, I also notice that this issue has been fixed.

Alternatively, would you suggest to use ver 6.02?
If I go back to 6.02, are the topics backward compatible?
