Hi - I am a very happy user of MyInfo (for over 1 year now). Having said that, there is one feature that I really would like to see in the product: Expanding the FIND function to include Document Titles. I am using MyInfo to assist me in writing a book, and often I have key information (words) in the Titles of the documents. My searches never find those words. I do understand that there is a (cumbersome) workaround to this FIND feature: exporting all the documents found in that particular file - and then do a search within the resulting RTF file - but it would be way easier if the "Find" function included the Titles of each of the documents in the file. Thanks,
Rex
Expanding the FIND function to include Document Titles
That hasn't been my experience at all; searches always turn up words or phrases in my document titles.
Have you tried re-indexing the topic (under "Tools" on the menu bar)?

Apart from what Bill already said, there is an option with which you can achieve exactly what you want:Rex wrote: there is one feature that I really would like to see in the product: Expanding the FIND function to include Document Titles. By clicking on Tools ---> Go to Document (or by pressing Ctrl + G) a window will open from which you can search directly and exclusively for words which are in the title of a document.
You can also also transfer a corresponding command to your toolbar so that you can open the search window always with a single mouseclick. That's the way I use it.
You can find this command here:
Tools --> Customize --> Tab "Commands" --> Categories: "Tools" ---> Commands: "Go to Document"
From there you can drag and drop this command to your toolbar.
