file linking problems

Hi

I can successfully link to and open local folders, word files etc, but NOT local PDF files... They won't launch when created as links inside a document - nor when created as a tree node/topic. Everything about a PDF file link looks right, but the PDF file won't view (read only) or launch... ??

Ian, this seems like a problem with Adobe Acrobat file associations. Try reinstalling Adobe Acrobat Reader (you are using Acrobat Reader, not Acrobat, right?) to see if it will fix this.

Great - yes - did a repair on my Adobe Reader installation - and that fixed the issue!
