Toggle for Apply Filter Button

I would like to see a toggle button at the top of the tree pane that would allow me to turn on and off the "apply filter" feature. A quick link to the Filter options dialog box would also be helpful here. Are there faster ways to do this other than having to remember keystrokes combinations or use menus?

If I'm missing something, please let me know.

You can bring the filter documents button onto a toolbar for quicker access.

I would also find it great to have a drop-down combo in the toolbar with a list of saved filters to choose from.
