"Virtual Memory Minimum Too Low" error loading tre

Post by DBC »

I was recently looking for a way to import NoteTab Pro outline files into MI, and came upon a means of converting these .otl files to Treepad's hjt format - which MI can import.

The conversion went fine - I checked it by loading it into Treepad - and the file is about 94,962 bytes. But when I tried loading it into MyInfo Standard v4 it took an age to load (10minutes +) and finally seemed to abort. I received the Windows message "Virtual memory minimum too low".

I have 1GB ram in my Thinkpad. I checked my virtual memory setting and it was at 768Mb, so I raised it to 1533Mb. Even so, I still had trouble loading the file, and when it did appear to have loaded it had in fact left out one of the sections if the original file.

This is a comparatively small file so I am not sure what the problem is. I sent a bug report in. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

This is probably a bug in MyInfo. I will look into it. Did you sent the file along with the bug report?
