[changed] How to sort Saved searches

Post by hotel »

I have pinned some search terms on the right side, but they show up in the same order as I pinned them.

How can I rearrange them so that my most frequently used ones come first?

Good point. This is not possible, yet as far I'm aware. :( The order of pinning search entry is really circumstantial and as such arbitrary, IMHO. I think it it should be sorted by last used automatically. Alternative would be some split drop down. Showing the last 3 (or so) recently used items first and next the other pinned search entry's - say - alphabetically.

I've changed saved searches sort behavior in MyInfo 8.5. Now they are ordered by their recent usage.

This is very useful. It makes navigation efficient.

Suggestion
Typically, the recent usage view is the most effective. However, when there are many saved searches, it would be helpful to sometimes rearrange the sort order to alphabetical and then switch it back to recent usage.
