You can enter the path to a local file in the dialog to create a web link. This will create a document with a note and web resource tab. Clicking on web resource tab or double clicking the document title will open the file using browser. Not quite what you were looking for, but close. I don't think ...

Thanks Kevin, for backing the request. You raised an interesting point about making tag-linking retroactive. That also made me think about the case where you might have multiple instances of the same tag-word within a document. Highlighting or creating automatic tag-links for every one of them might...

Link to Tag/Search/Filter
Great to see the Version 4 feature list and some user-driven activity in the forum. I have been looking forward to most of the features in V4, especially spell check and auto paste in text pane. I am really keen to see support for creating links to existing tags in MyInfo. Will this be in V4? Let me...

Can we have an option while exporting HTML so that the branches can be collapsed and expanded ? I don't know much about web programming, but I am guessing that some sort of javascript might be already available in the public domain. I am hoping that I will be able to figure out some way to view the ...

Palm support
Petko, is there any plan to support MyInfo on palm in future?
Other palm users, how do you synchronize your MyInfo files with palm? Save it as HTML?

I agree with the general MyInfo philosophy of avoiding feature creep and sticking to what it does best. Having said that, something like alerts/reminder is a very basic functionality associated with keeping track of tasks. What we really need is a better way to customize MyInfo. For the sake of this...

Thanks for the quick turn around in supporting this.
Note for folks using URL syntax (in document title):
With the latest version of Adobe Reader ( 7.0.8 ), there is an issue where URL links to pages will not work. http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx/.3bc0a28f.

I could not find Extract Files... in Adobe Reader 7.0. Is it a feature present only in Adobe Acrobat ? In any case I would like to second the original request of supporting links to pages within pdf. We have to work with standards that are well over 300 pages. If you support this, I will be MyInfo's...

Sorry I didn't make it clear enough. I am trying to link to another topic from the node (column pane), not from the document. Linking from the document works as expected. This is what I did: Insert>Web Document Text to display: Test Address: myinfo://C:\Topics\Scratch.mio*2 This almost does what I w...

Cloning/linking across topics
I am currently using hyperlinks within a node to link documents in two different topics. Double clicking on the link takes me to the linked topic. It will be nice if MyInfo can recognize the link without going through the browser and not display the web browser tab. It will be even better to have th...
