Topic: Is it possible to assign keyboard shortcut to different key?

And when there are limitations I use a program called "Macro Express" -- just another tool I can't live without. I manage 90% of my hotkey assignments from this program alone.

Good luck,

I to have experienced high percentage of use.
It dramatically increases when I'm also using an Access Database, it gets so bad sometimes that I close MI and finish what I'm doing with Access and then reopen MI.

Its a pain but I still LOVE MI. :-)

Its awkward I know but you can press the Left Arrow button in the lower right corner of MI just to the right of Search Results.

There are actually 2 tabs there the Attribute gets pushed to the left and therefore hidden, but pressing the little right arrow will re-display it.

Hope that helps.

Same problem here also

I have noticed this also.

I even have issues with copying from Outlook Preview pane and then trying to paste into MI -- get an access error. Pasting into another application and re-copying it into MI works as stated above.

Now I understand and I see what you mean.
I never really thought about changing that value, but you seem to be right, I can't find any configuration option to adjust that value -- I even looked in the registry. :-)

Wish I could be more help.

I'm assuming you are talking about the Topic Tab.
I was able to start a new topic with all 26 letters of the alphabet.
So, looks like the Tab is auto sized by the title given it.

I have never seen that issue.
What resolution do you run at? Mine is at 1280x1024 ... just guessing, but maybe a different resolution might work for you.

Try this. Open explorer to where your topic is stored and make a copy of it.
Then open the copy with the original and then use the menu to Window and tile either horizontally or vertically or cascade -- your choice.

Tools - Keyboard shortuts

Assign a short cut key to "Show Task Pane"
The Task Pane holds the search results as well as the topic attributes.

Should do the trick.

I use MacroExpress, but most of my macros are pretty generic.
For the most part they do work withit MyInfo.

What is it you are trying to do?

Interesting.
I reinstalled 4.02 and noted the high CPU usage, then I removed the option for live spelling like you said and the usage returned to normal.
For the heck of it I turn the live spelling back on and the usgae remained normal. :-) Thought I'd share that.
